hobby-ish gamedev. This website contains my raw notes and documents my progress.
Lets start this day off by looking through reddit, I havent done this for a couple of days and I like to get inspired. Also, I dont want to work on the brackeys gamejam idea for now, as I do not upload it there is no need to continue it for now. Looks like external motivation works very good for me. Last time something worked that well for me was the beatgame, which I dropped for now… but the constant work I did on it was quite unnormal for me.
After reddit today we should maybe do some low poly blender. Check blockbench again. And maybe formulate a list of goals in google docs or trello? That way I could build other subtasks which help me formulate my own learning path.
Also, check out sketching. You want to do sketching to visualize ideas, leveldesign end enemy/object/model design and sketching is for me the fastest most efficient way to get something done and explore early problems. An idea in your head is always a good idea, until you put it on a medium. I guess because the judging is made by the artist…
Interesting mining game, very similar to the gamejam idea I had.

Kinda looks like the game I wanted to make for the gamejam. More refined of course and without enemies. But I like the casual charm, maybe I should to that for my game too? Pixelart should be more funny and not as grim maybe?
This logo looks so funny, I want to implement this in my finished games:
